If the democrats truly cared about you, they would put all of the effort theyre spending attacking the MINORITY party, actually doing shit. The reason why they were so dead set on getting republican support on their healthcare bill even though they didn’t need it at all in the slightest is because they know what a mess it is and want someone to blame when it crashes and burns.

you cant have it both ways. you cant throw countless hissyfits and then say the other guy is the one doing it. you cant have a member in your party say an honest president would say “we are going to let old people die(look up robert reich if you dont believe me) and say its the other party who said it. you cant completely shut out the opposition and then get mad they dont fall in line with your vision, and you dont project things about yourself onto your opposition, which grayson does daily.

Well, my mom worked hard all her life and then was hit by a car. She could no longer work and thus lost her health insurance and now is on verge of bankruptcy! We need a government back up of some kind!

@Arsenalsoccer014 Ok, I agree it is not a waste of taxpayer money, not in my opinion anyway, to help people you just described who have hereditary diseases, etc. But the Democrats (most of the Democratic politicians anyway) have no intention of distinguishing between the two, they rely on the bums that I described earlier for votes by essentially promising them ‘something for nothing’ from the government taxpayers.

Health care reform is not a bad thing necessarily, but what is this guy’s plan? My guess is that he wants to raise taxes on people who earn more money to pay for others, many of whom do things like smoke/drink excessively/do drugs which put themselves at a higher risk for health problems. Losers like that will leech off a universal health care system, and people who work for a living (like me) will be basically paying for them. Sorry, but that sounds like a step in the wrong direction.
